Specifically regarding the topics of interest to Western Macedonia:
On Monday 15 July at 17:40~19:30 Greek time, there is a discussion panel coordinated by the Project Team of Western Macedonia, titled "Inter-regional network: a way to bring different partners into discussion and action" and aims to present and discuss the vision and objectives of a new network of coal regions. It also aims to explore and develop methods by examining the best way to gather and exchange information between regions in transition.
On Tuesday 16 July, there will be a special thematic session "Transition strategy I: the cases of Slovakia and Greece” where experiences from the development of transition strategies will be presented, with a particular focus on the regions of Western Macedonia (Greece) and Upper Nitra (Slovakia).
More generally, various meetings will be held, and the World Bank will also be in attendance, which will elaborate and discuss with the European Commission and members of the Working Group the progress of technical support to Western Macedonia.
